First review of the Dark Knight that I know of...
Again, and I’m sure that I’m getting ridiculous at this point… but I can’t wait for this movie. I truly believe it will take the comic book action genre to a new level. Hopefully a level that is as respected as the shitty movies that always seem to make the tops of the Oscar lists.
Sidenote: I hope and fear at the same time that Heath Ledger’s performance in this movie will turn him into some sort of posthumous icon. For good or for bad, this is how he went out and I hope that his legacy is that of a superb actor rather than a dead icon used to sell movies.
